ETERNAL LIGHT

Length: 2 Minutes and 43 Seconds

What I Did: All visuals and editing.

Music credited to William Glover

My senior film was Eternal Light. When I was originally creating this concept it was going to be more narrative in its format than what I finally have ended up with.As a visual development artist I wanted to play to my stengths in this film which are painting, color, and shape. In the end what we have is a non-narrative film with one main subject of theme, that is, the life cycle of a star. Although the end result was not what I had intended - mainly due to time constraints and lack of a crew - I'm still immensely proud with what I have accomplished.

This film goes through the life of a star, from birth to death. The depiction of the star is personified into a human-like design, focusing on its shape and color. And it's animation is focused on simplu movements, and a mostly continuous shot. How the story is depicted is very much like a dance, something akin to Disney's Fantasia.
